At Border Connect Inc. doing business as BorderPrint ("BorderPrint", "we", "us", or "our"), we understand that time is critical in the logistics and transportation industry. We are committed to processing and shipping your custom cross-border compliance products as quickly as possible.
Please review our shipping policies below to understand our processing times, shipping methods, and cross-border delivery terms.
1. Order Processing Times
Because our physical products (such as PARS/PAPS barcode labels and lead sheets) are custom-printed to your exact specifications, they require processing time before they are handed over to a shipping carrier.
- Standard Processing: Custom orders placed before 11:00 AM EST on a business day (Monday through Friday, excluding Canadian statutory holidays) are typically processed and shipped the next business day.
- Orders placed after the cut-off time, or on weekends and holidays, will be processed on the following business day.
- If we experience an unusually high volume of orders or an issue verifying your custom data (e.g., an invalid SCAC or Carrier Code), processing may be delayed. We will contact you immediately via phone or email if we need to verify your information.
2. Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
We ship primarily within Canada and to the United States. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on the weight of your order and your destination address.
- Carriers: We partner with major carriers to offer reliable delivery options, including DHL, Canada Post, USPS, Purolator.
- Transit Times: Delivery estimates provided at checkout are transit times only and do not include our order processing time.
- Expedited Shipping: Overnight and expedited shipping options are not available.
3. Customs, Duties, and Taxes for Cross-Border Shipping
BorderPrint is located in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
For customers ordering from the United States:
- Your order will be shipped internationally. You, the customer, are the importer of record.
- BorderPrint is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping (including tariffs, import duties, brokerage fees, and taxes) are the sole responsibility of the customer.
- Customs clearance procedures can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
4. Digital Products
Orders for digital products, such as Digital PARS/PAPS files, do not incur shipping charges. These files are processed and delivered electronically to the email address provided at checkout. Please ensure your email address is correct and check your spam/junk folders if you do not receive your files promptly after processing.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order has been processed and a shipping label has been created, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation email containing your tracking number(s).
- The tracking link will become active within 24 hours of the carrier picking up the package.
- You can also track your order status by logging into your BorderPrint account on our Site.
6. Shipping Delays and Liability
While we strive to ensure timely delivery, BorderPrint is not liable for shipping delays once the package has been handed over to the carrier.
We cannot issue refunds for products or shipping costs due to delays caused by:
- Carrier network disruptions, weather events, or natural disasters.
- Customs clearance holds or border inspections.
- Incorrect or incomplete shipping addresses provided by the customer at checkout.
7. Lost, Stolen, or Damaged Packages
- Damaged in Transit: If your order arrives damaged, please save all packaging materials and damaged goods, and contact us within 3 business days. We may require photos of the damage to file a claim with the carrier and arrange a replacement.
- Lost or Stolen: If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you have not received it, please check with neighbors, your building manager, or your receiving dock. If you still cannot locate the package, please contact the shipping carrier directly to initiate a trace. BorderPrint is not responsible for packages that are verified as delivered by the carrier.
